Thank you so much for your support and love for the TinyTV 2 and TinyTV Mini! As of today, we've shipped over 6000 TinyTVs to over 3600 different backers on Kickstarter and Indiegogo - thank you all for your support and helping to make this a reality! It did take a while to get the final orders out for this - thank you all for your patience. We finished all of the crowdfunding orders several weeks ago, and are now excited to announce these are now in stock and for sale on TinyCircuits.com.
With Black Friday / Cyber Monday and the holidays right around the corner, many people have been asking us about getting more TinyTVs to give out as gifts.
We do have more of these available, but supplies are limited - so we want to give our Kickstarter backers the earliest access to getting more of these.
We'll be doing a Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale later this week - however for Kickstarter backers we are opening this up immediately - several days before we open it up to the public.

We're excited to announce that TinyTV Minis are finally shipping! Thank you all for your patience, this has taken much longer than expected but these look great and we're happy to finally get these shipped out to everyone.
As of today we have shipped out 1619 orders and have 790 more to go, most of the remaining orders have TinyTV Minis in them.

Shipping Status
We are shipping by backer number - assuming we have all the items required at the time to ship your order. So if your backer number is less than 1619, we likely didn't have everything needed to ship out your order yet (namely TinyTV Minis).
We are currently shipping orders daily, and anticipate shipping all orders out by early September.
Converter Application
The TinyTV Converter application has recently been updated to version 1.0.3 which fixes some bugs with videos that had chapters and better macOS 12.0 support.

We would like to apologize for the delays in getting out the TinyTVs to everyone and appreciate your patience through all of this! As of today, we have shipped out 909 orders, and have around 1500 more to ship out. So far, only TinyTV 2 orders have shipped (see below for a status update on the TinyTV Mini), and we are increasing our shipping rate daily.
TinyTV 2 and TinyTV Mini - Injection Molded
Shipping Status
We are shipping by backer number - assuming we have all the items required at the time to ship your order. So if your backer number is less than 909, we likely didn't have everything needed to ship out your order yet (namely Tiny Remotes or TinyTV Minis).
Tiny Remotes
We've shipped all of the Tiny Remotes from our last batch of these - and we have the Tiny Remote boards built up for the rest of these, however ran into a shortage of the Tiny remote cases. The cases for these are 3D printed from an outside commercial service, we're waiting on the remaining cases to arrive here at the end of this week.
TinyTV Mini Update
We've had a number of delays with the injection mold for the TinyTV Minis and this has taken much longer than was originally quoted to us. However the mold is now complete, and we have our first samples in from this and they look great. The mold is now in the final polishing stage, and production parts should be arriving by mid July.

Shipping Schedule for Remaining Orders
All orders that do not include TinyTV Mini's should all be shipped by the end of July.
We expect to start shipping orders that include the TinyTV Mini the week of July 17th, and anticipate having all orders shipped out by the middle of August.
Converter Application
While the converter app is working for some users, our initial release does not handle different video files as well as we intended. The app will crash when a video with chapter markers or certain other metadata is loaded. We are working on a fix to handle that properly and expect to support all formats that the underlying FFmpeg tool supports.
Additionally the app did not load correctly on macOS 12. This has been fixed and an updated download is available on the tinytv.us website.
Firmware Update
If you received an early TinyTV 2, there is a chance the firmware in this needs updated to resolve a display issue. This earlier firmware will display what looks like two black diagonal lines across the screen as shown in the below video. This can be fixed by updating the firmware on your TinyTV 2 by going to the https://tinytv.us/Update/ site and running the firmware update. If you don't have the black lines on your TinyTV 2, there is no need to try to update the firmware at this time.

We would like to apologize for the delays in getting out the TinyTVs to everyone! We've had a number of issues with our injection molded plastic and had to make a few modifications with our plastic partners to get the mold just right. The good news is that we have this dialed in for the TinyTV 2, and have several thousand sets of plastic made up for these now.
Production is proceeding along nicely, below are the first set of TinyTV 2's getting stack up and ready for shipment.
TinyTV 2's are in full production, both the standard color version and the clear version, and Tiny Remotes are in full production as well.

The TinyTV Mini mold is still being worked on, we hope to have good plastic samples from this in the next few weeks, and then we'll be able to give an update on when these will be shipping out.
Backerkit Surveys
Surveys will be locked down in the next 24 hours on Backerkit in preparation for shipping. If you added any add-ons via Backerkit, this will be when your credit card will be charged.
Shipping Status
We'll begin shipping out rewards starting next week, shipments will be done based on your backer number and if we have all of the items needed for your order ready. All shipments will be done via US Postal Service First Class Mail. International shipments will have a low customs value and be marked as a gift.
Upon shipping out, you will receive an email from Backerkit with your USPS Tracking number for the package.

TinyTV BackerKit surveys are coming!

TinyTV 2 / TinyTV Mini production is moving along, and we're ready to send out Backertkit surveys to start collecting your information. We are getting our production plastic cases for the TinyTV 2 in the next few weeks and will start to ship out rewards later this month. The TinyTV Mini plastic injection mold is still being worked on, this is planned to be done by next month and we'll start shipping out rewards that include the minis shortly after that.
Today you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://tinytv2.backerkit.com.
